The AMF is a registered cultural and educational foundation, established in 1983 by Oko Drammeh as a charity foundation. To promote, preserve, develope and advance the African musical culture, whilst seeking to entertain and educate the world about the hidden and unknown myths and facts about the african culture and heritage.

As we are a humanitarian company, and give charity to african and third world countries through our performances and our collaborations with television and radio where we were able to contract millions of guilders for the families in ethiopia, and the civil war casualties in Rwanda, as well as the Red Cross Organisation and Dutch Heart Foundation. We are also documenting the history and music of The Gambia through musical recordings (cassettes, CDs, DVD) and festivals and celebrations.

We have worked with Joop van den Ende of Endemol entertainment, for the Rwanda national help, and have managed to free up more than 70 million guilders (approx. 35 million US dollar) for support for these people in 1994.

We have also worked with dr. J. A. Kemenade of the Dutch ministry in the ""One for Africa" help program for Ethiopia in 1985, with great succes.
