The dynamic performance of the soto koto boand was the highlight of the ninth annual african music festival in holland. the premier event in african music. The rave reviews and encores are typical of the band's reception wherever they have played. this group of preeminent musicians from africaand europe is bringing the powerful vibrations of africa to people throughout the world with exciting live performances. the soto koto band emerged to the contemporary music scene with "Gumba dance!" featuring vocalist Abdel Kabirr. this debut album presented the gumbay ( goom bay) sound emanating from gambia...the roots of jazz and blues.

The Ghanian Female singer from yua, norhtern Ghana is the new Ghanian musican sensation in the Netherlands with the release of her cd Bayette. She is a force ot be reckoned with!

Her music is called the hypnotic Kinkasi rhythms and she is currently recording a brand new Single and Album. look out for this release in the nearby future!

The voice of Kiala and the sound of Afro Beat , music which made itself immortal through Fela Kuti, is combined with the sound of African Unity.

After Willy Nfor, famous bassist for Ghettoblaster, died, Kiala regrouped ghettoblaster, and with the new name, Afro Beat Gang, he has carried on the legacy set forth by Fela Kuti and the Afro Beat Sound, and with his nine crew band, they are a masterly group of musicians. A tropical musical delicacy not to be wasted.
